Waking up early has become my habit (reminds me of the book is called the Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg) since Samui SUP marathon. 😀 It’s a good thing for me and my hubby. This morning I joined a 7 am yoga class before I started working. It was a 2-hour-class. At the beginning of the class we did some stretching and meditated for 20 minutes. Then started sun salutation, and continued the flow. Today’s theme in class was Ahinsa/Ahimsa: ahiṃsā อหิงสา – means nonviolence to all living beings including all animals and to ourselves. When you practice yoga, focus on yourself, don’t push yourself too hard or out of your own limit. Otherwise you will harm your own body. Your body deserves Ahinsa. I noticed My body is not as flexible as it used to be. I guess I paddled (SUP) a lot last week and plus I worked on my computer by sitting intensively. My hamstring was super tight. 🤣 Soon it will be more flexible again. Just take it slow and keep practicing yoga. Btw, I always practiced yoga in the evening. My routine has changed. I am gonna do yoga in the morning instead of evening and see how my body can adjust this. It’s going to be great. Namaste 🙏🏻. .
