My friend, Tammy invited me to join a yoga class with her former yoga teacher who taught her teacher training course at yogarden. This class was actually a part of yoga teacher training, hatha yoga, taught by Dhugal but they are also open for dropping in (i dropped in.) Hatha yoga is my favorite kind of yoga I have done. When I started practicing yoga back in Bangkok in 2016, i learned Hatha yoga from Master Vivek at root8. With his class, it made me like yoga and become more serious about yoga. and understand that yoga is not just about working out but it has deeper meaning than that. I really like the teacher and other students in class today. Most of people are living in Samui. It was nice to make friend with local expats and Thais here as I always look for a good community to hang out with and share our common interests. Most of the time i go to other yoga studios here, i met more tourists than locals. I ran into my Thai yoga teacher from another yoga studio there. I learned a lot today. I definitely want to take a Dhugal’s class again. If you are interested in doing yoga teacher training, I recommend to take a course with this teacher. Thank you, Tammy for inviting me to this class.
