We landed safely in suratthani just before the airport was closed

We landed safely in suratthani just before the airport was closed. ✈️First we picked up our car safely from the airport parking. Later we drove to krabi to escape the strongest part of the tropical storm. We just arrived in Krabi and are staying at a hotel away from the beach. It should be a good location to wait out the storm. It is slightly on a slope - and according to staff it never been flooded at this hotel. We decided to go to Krabi since the mainland would take away some of the power of the storm once it reaches here. After seeing the pictures of Nakhon Si Thammarat province we decided against staying in Surat Thani, which would be hit tonight. We are tracking the tropical storm’s movements on the app. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!
